MASON CITY, Iowa – A man accused of drunkenly crashing with a child in his vehicle is pleading not guilty.
Orlando Rodriguez, 31 of Mason City, is now scheduled to stand trial starting October 10 on charges of child endangerment and OWI-1st offense.
Mason City police say Rodriguez crashed his truck into a house in the 700 block of S. Jackson Avenue on July 2. Court documents state there was a child in the truck and Rodriguez tried to run away after the crash.
