Brandon Yee joined KIMT as a producer in June of 2021. He recently graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in journalism and studies in theater and history.
Brandon has been a Minnesotan for his entire life and lived in the Twin Cities for all of it until he moved to the area. He enjoys watching Minnesota sports teams and reading famed Minnesota authors Sinclair Lewis and F. Scott Fitzgerald.
He was on an improv team in college along with interning at the St. Paul Pioneer Press. He believes these experiences have shown him how to tell stories on his toes.
Outside of sports and a good book, he enjoys volunteering, acting and wants to explore more of the Med City.
